Master Shakeel Chaudhry has been practicing Taekwondo for 30 years. Over the years, he trained in Canada, the United States, Korea, Iran, and Mexico with some of the top Grandmasters and Olympic Coaches. He founded Dragon Taekwondo Academy in 2010 with an aim to promote the benefits of martial arts.
“Our program is unique. In that we not only offer traditional Taekwondo, we also have a High-Performance Program for those athletes who wish to compete at the Provincial, National, International and Olympic level,” he says. They also have their own indoor ninja obstacle course for their special Ninja Fitness Program.
Master Shakeel is extremely proud of his team. “Our Coaches hold some of the highest qualifications through NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) as well as certifications with Ninja Sport International (NSI), Mental Coaching and Safe Sport Canada,” he says.
